I met with Mandi from Make with Mandi at her lovely home in Walthamstow on a super sunny March day. She took me to her garden where she and her husband built her bright workspace. “It is not finished yet, “ she says, when all I am thinking is how nice it already looks! 

Mandy from Make with Mandi designs sewing patterns. Growing up to sounds of sewing machine she continued her family tradition by sewing and making her own clothes.

Make with Mandi started in a year where a majority of people re-thought their career paths - yes, you guessed it right, in 2020. Having more time Mandi decided to turn pattern cutting into a business and Make with Mandi was born.

Mandi believes making your own clothes should be fun and the end result should give you a garment you want to wear again and again.
